“Naked Memory” by Mitroff: A Step Toward Her Era

Skopje’s "Kamnik Winery" provided a refined and picturesque backdrop for Ljupka Mitrova’s latest fashion show, “Naked Memory". The open‑air setting promised elegance, yet the evening unfolded with mixed impressions.
Guests were redirected by staff whose attire lacked professionalism, and the service struggled to keep pace with the crowd -too few waiters for too many glasses left unfilled... Organization felt fragile, and the two‑hour delay forced models into hurried walks down the runway. There was neither a proper runway nor a red carpet, leaving the models poorly coordinated.
The collection itself carried echoes of familiar silhouettes and ideas, leaving little room for surprise. Most of the dresses were notably tight, and one piece revealed a minimal deformity at the back - details that distracted from the overall presentation. The models, still inexperienced, did not fully embody the garments, and the rushed pacing diminished their impact.
Yet, despite these shortcomings, the show marked progress compared to Mitrova’s debut “Vigour" in 2025. The refinement of presentation, even if imperfect, signals growth.
Mitrova’s creative journey is only beginning. If she invests deeper effort into originality and craftsmanship, the setup will fade into memory while the clothes endure. Fashion, after all, is remembered through its creations-not its logistics.
Her era is just about to start.
